Growing up in a city near Ephesus, Turkey, Ezgi and Irem spent their childhood running around in vineyards, helping locals make sun dried raisins, tomatoes, and prunes. The two sisters realized their passion for food by watching their grandmother prepare her unique dishes. Thus, they began developing their own style and spreading the joy by giving parties to family and friends.

Their background in restaurant business goes back to college years. After having managed several of New York’s popular restaurants including Bella Luna, Aquavit, Lolabelle, and Molyvos, Ezgi and Irem made their dream come true. They relocated to the Caribbean Island of St. Maarten to operate the restaurant they bought called Bliss. There, the two sisters were able to hone their culinary skills and style.
Vegeterranean Catering is an independent boutique company founded by two sisters, Ezgi and Irem.
